Biography

Born and raised in Vermont, Amanda Jaeger has lived all over the country and traveled extensively around the world. She is fluent in two languages with conversational skills in two more – a reflection of her deep curiosity about people, their cultures, and their stories. Before attending law school, Amanda built a diverse career rooted in serving others. She spent a year with AmeriCorps, worked in the nonprofit sector, and served in animal control and code enforcement. It was during her time in animal control that Amanda investigated and successfully referred several animal cruelty cases for prosecution. She also spearheaded the largest large-animal cruelty seizure and case in the county – a defining experience that cemented her lifelong passion for fighting on behalf of those who cannot fight for themselves.

Amanda attended California Western School of Law in San Diego, where she proved to be a force in the classroom and the courtroom. She graduated Magna Cum Laude, earned two Distinguished Advocate Awards, and received two CALI Awards for achieving the highest grade in her respective courses. Her academic record speaks for itself – but it is how she applies that knowledge to real people’s lives that truly sets her apart.

Since graduating, Amanda has practiced across multiple areas of law including employment law, family law, and civil litigation. That breadth of experience gives her a strategic advantage in personal injury cases, where understanding the full legal landscape — from insurance disputes and wrongful death claims to civil rights litigation – can make the difference between a good outcome and a great one.
