Amanda Marie Hendren

Amanda Hendren was born in Indianapolis in 1985 and graduated from Avon High School in 2003. She earned her B.A. in Communications from DePauw University in 2007 and began her professional career in the banking industry before deciding to pursue law. Amanda attended the University of Dayton School of Law and graduated in 2011 from the school’s two-year accelerated program, finishing in the top 25% of her class. While in law school, she served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Thomas M. Rose in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, where she worked on procedural issues involving ERISA and the ECPA. Her contributions were significant enough that she was cited in two federal opinions for assisting in their drafting. Since earning her J.D., Amanda has focused much of her practice on family law, handling matters such as dissolution, custody, child support, wage withholding, contempt, and protective orders. She also represents clients in criminal law and a variety of civil litigation matters, including construction law, premises liability, breach of contract, complex torts, wrongful death, motor vehicle accidents, and governmental liability. Amanda lives on the south side of Indianapolis with her husband and two stepsons and enjoys Colts games, boating and waterskiing, and cheering on her stepsons at sporting events.
