Amanda Schlechter was a military brat in her younger years and settled in Florida in her middle school years. Ms. Schlechter's practice concentrates in the areas of commercial real estate transactions, including all aspects of acquisitions and financing, lender representation and complex loan workouts. Ms. Schlechter has significant expertise with respect to negotiating complex loan workouts, including, mortgage modifications, short sales, guarantor releases and forbearance agreements. Ms. Schlechter is not only a lawyer but also a patent holding entrepreneur which affords her the ability to negotiate and appreciate the business and practical side of complex real estate transactions. Her clients include real estate developers, financial institutions, contractors, and purchasers and sellers of all types of real estate and businesses. After a 6 year hiatus wherein Ms. Schlechter focused on entrepreneurial pursuits, she is happy to be back at Nason Yeager and will continue to utilize her legal and business skills in her practice specializing in the following areas:
