Amir J. Sadeghi

Amir’s practice is centered around intellectual property law, internet law, and commercial litigation. He is dedicated to protecting the business and creative interests of individuals and companies through registration and enforcement of their intellectual property portfolios with a focus on trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and information technology.

A musician himself, Amir’s passion for the arts drives his commitment to assisting creators and businesses in safeguarding their intellectual property in today’s evolving digital and commercial landscape. Amir has been a guest panelist at ASU Law’s Intellectual Property Symposium on the growing frontiers of intellectual property careers in the Southwest.

Amir earned his J.D. from ASU’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, graduating with Certificates in Intellectual Property and in Law, Science and Technology. During law school, he served as a McCarthy Institute Fellow for Intellectual Property, Associate Editor of the American Bar Association law journal Jurimetrics: The Journal of Law, Science, & Technology, and as a seasoned USPTO student clinician at ASU’s Lisa Foundation Patent Law Clinic where he provided pro bono trademark assistance to the business community of Arizona. He received multiple CALI Awards for his work in trademark law and legal analysis achieving the highest grade in his courses. Amir completed an internship with the U.S. Attorney’s Office – District of Arizona and a judicial externship at the Tempe Municipal Court where he gained wide-ranging litigation experience.
