Biography

Amitisse Noohi joined HPM&B as an associate in 2022. The majority of Amitisse’s practice focuses on representation of medical institutions, individual physicians, and other medical personnel in complex medical malpractice matters. She is involved in all stages of pre-trial litigation, with a particular focus on case development, legal and medical research, fact investigation, and motion support.

Prior to joining HPM&B, Amitisse was a Staff Attorney with the United States Attorney’s Office, District of New Jersey’s Opioid Group. Her focus there was primarily on violations of the Food, Drug, and Cosmetics Act (“FDCA”), working closely with the Department of Justice’s Consumer Protection Unit in Washington D.C.

During law school, Amitisse interned for Mercy Hospital, working closely with the General Counsel’s office to protect the interests of the hospital.
