Biography

Ms. Alonzo earned her L.L.M. in Health Law & Policy from the Seton Hall University School of Law School and her J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center.

Her areas of practice include: business law wherein she represents municipal, commercial, and non-profits in establishing and maintaining legal structure; employment law; regulatory compliance; and positioning businesses to receive financial funding through commercial and private lending or grants. Ms. Alonzo supports the Firm’s Corporate Transactions, Facility Licensing, and Regulatory Compliance practices.

Over the past several years, Ms. Alonzo has presided as President of the Professional Advisory Board for Sister2Sister, a non-profit cancer-survivor organization. In this capacity she provides counsel on government compliance, participation in clinical trials, maintaining proper operations, hiring and grooming future leaders, and personnel diversification to reflect communal needs. For this, she received the organization’s highest award, the Pearl Grace Award, in 2019.

In recognition of her labor and community involvement she received several awards, most notably Businesswoman of the Year, Union County Board of Freeholders, 2016, and the Community Activist Award, Somerset County, 2019,

Ms. Alonzo resides in Somerset, NJ. She is never too busy for a good chat, laughter, red wine, and a quick flight to the islands of Trinidad & Tobago where she calls home.
