Biography

Amy Belmont is a dedicated personal injury attorney at Morgan & Morgan’s New York office, where she focuses on representing clients injured in car accidents. While in law school, she was a member of the Buffalo Law Review, sharpening her legal research and writing skills. After earning her law degree, she began her legal career advocating for injured plaintiffs, handling cases involving motor vehicle, motorcycle, bicycle, and pedestrian accidents, as well as dog bites, slip and fall incidents, and labor law claims.

Before joining Morgan & Morgan, Amy spent several years working for a major insurance company, gaining valuable insight into how insurers evaluate and defend claims. This experience gives her a unique advantage when advocating for her clients, as she understands the strategies insurance companies use to minimize compensation. She leverages this knowledge to fight for the maximum recovery her clients deserve.

Amy has also completed an intensive professional training program in Trial Skills at the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA), further strengthening her ability to advocate effectively in the courtroom. Her deep understanding of both plaintiff and defense perspectives, combined with her commitment to justice, makes her a fierce and compassionate advocate for those injured in car accidents.
