Biography

Amy E. Rudley is a Partner in Cooper Levenson’s Atlantic City office, focusing on employment law, hospitality and casino law, and defense litigation, including civil rights and premises liability matters.

She manages all phases of litigation, from inception and discovery through trial, post-trial motions, and appeals. In addition, Amy advises clients on day-to-day employment practices, drafting employee handbooks, and preparing employment contracts and agreements.

Amy also conducts seminars, training sessions, and workplace investigations addressing allegations of discrimination, retaliation, and harassment. She provides guidance to municipal and governmental clients on employment obligations and ensures compliance with federal and state employment laws.

Practice Highlights:

Amy has counseled New Jersey and Pennsylvania businesses and governmental entities for more than 17 years, helping them tackle legal issues in a preventative manner, addressing employee situations as they arise, defending litigation, and conducting preventative training sessions for employees and management.

Prior to her practice, Amy served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable John Tomasello, then Presiding Criminal Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey for Vicinage XV. During law school, she was a member of the Rutgers Civil Practice Clinic, was the Managing Editor for the competitive Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion, interned for the Honorable Martin A. Herman, J.S.C., and clerked for a private law firm.
