Prior to working for the City, I was in private practice for 14 years. I met Ms. Poplawski when she was opposing counsel on a family law matter. She was highly unprofessional, unnecessarily rude and uncivil. As an example, she hung up on me mid-sentence during a phone conference in which I was politely relaying to her my client's response to her client's request. She did not allow me to finish the sentence to relay my client's counteroffer. This created extra expense to our clients. Read less
