Biography

Andrew Gordon Simon is a Partner in the firm's Miami office. He is a seasoned, results-driven litigator and trusted advisor, representing clients in high-stakes complex commercial litigation, employment, fiduciary defense, and professional malpractice matters. He has successfully handled complicated cases involving contractual disputes, investor losses, employment disputes, discrimination claims, legal and accounting malpractice, and real estate conflicts. Known for his strategic insight, courtroom presence, and unwavering commitment to excellence, Mr. Simon delivers sophisticated legal solutions tailored to his clients’ most critical challenges.

Mr. Simon earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Miami, where he was selected to serve on the University of Miami Honor Counsel and held leadership roles, including Risk Manager for Beta Theta Pi fraternity.

He obtained his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law, where he distinguished himself as a formidable oral advocate. During law school, he clerked for the Honorable Scott M. Bernstein, led interns in the Unified Family Court Complex Litigation Division, and served as President of the Family Law Society. He also gained significant litigation experience as a Clerk for one of Fort Lauderdale’s leading criminal defense attorneys and later as a full-time extern at Cole, Scott & Kissane, where he focused on the very practice areas in which he excels today.

Mr. Simon’s natural oral advocacy skills were evident from the outset. He was inducted into Moot Court and the Nova Trial Association during his first year of law school, competing nationally in some of the country’s most prestigious trial competitions, where he consistently finished as a finalist. In recognition of his exceptional courtroom advocacy skills, he was one of only ten graduates selected for induction into the Order of Barristers, a national honor society for those who demonstrate outstanding oral advocacy, legal writing, and scholastic excellence.

Mr. Simon has been recognized as one of Florida’s 'Rising Stars' by Super Lawyers Magazine (2021-2025), an accolade awarded to less than 2.5% of attorneys in the state.
