Biography

Andrew (“Drew”) Metzger was born and raised in the Tampa Bay area. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Central Florida. After graduating, he began his legal career working as a paralegal at a securities litigation firm in New York. He then returned home to attend Stetson University College of Law where he earned his law degree. While in law school, Mr. Metzger served as a judicial intern for a federal district judge in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

After graduating from law school, Mr. Metzger joined an insurance defense firm where he represented many of the largest insurance carriers in a variety of cases involving auto accidents, premises liability and insurance coverage disputes. He has handled all phases of civil litigation, from pre-suit through jury trial. He now uses the valuable experience and insight gained from defending insurance companies to fight for the rights of the injured. Mr. Metzger currently resides in St. Petersburg, Florida with his wife and their young daughter.
