Biography

Andy joined Stoll Keenon Ogden in 2018 as an Associate in the Louisville office. He is part of the Business Litigation practice group.

Prior to joining SKO, Andy spent a year as a law clerk to the Honorable Thomas B. Russell, senior judge for the U.S. District Court in the Western District of Kentucky.

Andy graduated from Centre College in 2011 and the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law in 2017 where he earned his J.D. with summa cum laude distinction. While in law school, Andy participated in the national moot court competition, focusing on appellate advocacy, and served as senior notes editor for the University of Louisville Law Review.

Business Litigation: Andy is part of a litigation team that handles business disputes ranging from single breaches of contract to multi-party, class-action conflicts. He helps clients resolve complex business litigation matters through extensive research, writing and client communication, and works to deliver results in the most efficient and economically advantageous ways possible.

Appellate: Andy regularly represents both appellants and appellees, helping clients navigate post-trial motions and other intricacies associated with challenging a trial court’s decision. He has worked on appeals before the Kentucky Supreme Court, Kentucky Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit.

Business Torts: Andy represents clients by defending and prosecuting business torts claims, including claims for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, tortious interference, fraud, and various intellectual property and trade secrets claims.

Construction Law: Andy supports business owners and homeowners, developers, and contractors in construction matters, including initial negotiations, formal and informal dispute resolution, and provides them with advantageous solutions to various legal issues.
