Biography

Andrew Padover is an experienced litigator at WSHB’s New York office, where he specializes in complex civil litigation. His primary focus is on construction litigation, premises liability, and general liability matters. Andrew has significant experience in state, appellate, and federal courts in New York, handling all phases of litigation including case review, motion practice, discovery, and depositions.

He graduated from Rutgers Law School - Camden on a full-tuition academic scholarship and earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Florida.

Experience

• Represented a client in a case wherein an interstate bus service argued that the State of New York had no jurisdiction over the parties, and claimed they had minimum contacts with New York; the Court held that general jurisdiction is proper.

• Successful on appeal wherein a contractor argued that they did not perform construction work in the area of client’s accident; the Court held that, based on the contractor’s affidavit that contained numerous falsehoods, issues of fact existed, as well as records that revealed work may have in fact been performed by the contractor in the area of the accident.
