Angela Edwards is an experienced attorney with a diverse background in commercial, real estate and technology transactions and relationships. With over 25 years of legal experience and a dedication to client success, Angela has built a reputation as a highly knowledgeable and skilled professional who delivers proactive and pragmatic legal counsel and strategic guidance across a variety of legal and business matters.

Angela’s career journey encompasses a balanced mix of roles as both outside counsel and in-house counsel, offering a comprehensive perspective to her clients. She started her career in private law firms, honing her skills as a commercial real estate and general commercial attorney, often being referred to as the “outside/inside counsel” for several clients. In 2011, Angela transitioned to Micron Technology, Inc., a global Fortune 200 semiconductor company. While at Micron, Angela served as an in-house attorney, manager, and leader, playing a pivotal role in managing global legal teams serving various functions, as well as establishing and overseeing the Legal Operations function within the company’s global legal department.

At Elam & Burke, she leverages her experience in both outside counsel and inside counsel roles as well as her experience in operations and as a business-facing leader. Angela’s well-rounded perspective, acquired through her diverse career path, enables her to effectively address the varied needs of her clients.

Angela finds balance beyond her legal work through her active outdoor lifestyle, including skiing, mountain biking (a recent “gift” from her husband), hiking, and whatever activity she gets pulled into that won’t result in likely death. She nurtures her intellectual curiosity by traveling, reading, and getting together with the brilliant people she is honored to have as friends, and she enjoys watching and being included in the lives of her kind-hearted, slightly puckish 20-something sons.
