Angelika Erickson: Attorney with Whitelaw-Twining

Biography

Angelika has been with Whitelaw Twining since 2014. Before joining our team, she worked at a general litigation law firm defending corporate and personal clients at the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia, at mediations and settlement conferences, and before administrative tribunals. Since being called to the bar, Angelika has practiced in the area of employment law and has extensive experience assisting clients with employment agreements and policies, and helping clients resolve employment issues through negotiations, in court and tribunals. In addition to employment law, she has a general insurance litigation practice, covering a wide variety of matters, including personal injury, property damage, subrogated claims, trucking and transportation and road maintenance.

Angelika ran a successful web design business before deciding to study law. During school, she volunteered with the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program, a student-run non-profit legal aid clinic. She served as a clinic head, assisted clients at legal clinics and sat on the Society’s Board of Directors as the program’s Executive Director.

For Angelika, the best part of her job is helping clients resolve complex matters, tackling new challenges and diving deep into files to discover something critical that might otherwise have gone unnoticed.
