Biography

Angelika Hunnefeld has deep experience in international business arbitration and commercial litigation, helping clients in a wide range of industries with cross-border disputes and enforcement actions, with a special focus on Latin America. Angelika, who is Board Certified as a Specialist in International Law by The Florida Bar and an active member of the Council of the ICC Institute of World Business Law, routinely handles substantive and procedural matters before the ICC, the International Centre for Dispute Resolution, and the Inter-American Commercial Arbitration Commission, among other arbitral tribunals. Angelika is particularly experienced in international arbitration and litigation matters involving multi-jurisdictional issues, including enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards. Angelika spends a significant amount of her time on matters related to Brazil and other countries in Latin America. Angelika has throughout her career mentored and worked with members of Greenberg Traurig’s International Associate Program, which for more than 30 years has hosted talented lawyers from Brazil and other countries in Latin America to work at the firm before returning to their home countries.
