Angie D. Ayala serves as an Associate Attorney in the family-based
department at Wilner & O’Reilly, APLC’s Orange office,
bringing a robust background and diverse experience to her role.
Admitted to the California Bar and the Central District of
California, Ms. Ayala's journey in law began with a Bachelor of Arts
in Political Science from the University of California, Irvine,
followed by a Juris Doctorate from Chapman University, Dale E. Fowler
School of Law.
During her law
school years, Ms. Ayala demonstrated her commitment to public service
as a law clerk for the immigration department of the Public Law
Center of Orange County. In this pro bono capacity, she provided
legal assistance to lower-income residents, handling various
immigration matters, including family-based cases, asylum, and
u-visas. Her dedication extended to the Bette and Wylie Aitken Family
Protection Clinic, where she served as a Student Attorney in the
immigration department. Here, she focused on u-visas, specifically
assisting women who were victims of domestic violence.
Before pursuing
her Juris Doctorate, Ms. Ayala gained valuable experience as a legal
assistant for four years. In this role, she managed case files
involving family-based petitions, citizenship, DACA, and participated
in USCIS interviews as a sworn interpreter.
Prior to joining
Wilner & O’Reilly, Ms. Ayala honed her skills as an associate
attorney at a civil litigation firm. Here, she expanded her research,
analytical, and writing abilities, working on a range of legal
documents, from demand letters and complaints to discovery motions
and appellate briefs. Her experience in civil litigation serves as a
valuable foundation that she now applies to the immigration arena.
Beyond the legal
realm, Angie cherishes time spent with her family and finds enjoyment
in running, reading, and exploring new cities. Her multifaceted
background and commitment to public service make her a valuable asset
to the Wilner & O’Reilly team and the clients she serves.
