Angie joined Coughlin & Gerhart, LLP as an associate in 2025 and practices primarily in the areas of Trust & Estates and Real Estate. She graduated from Widener University Commonwealth Law School with a J.D., cum laude in 2025 and graduated from Loyola University Maryland in 2022 with a B.A. in Political Science.
She is a member of the firm’s Trusts & Estates and Real Estate practice groups.
Prior to joining Coughlin & Gerhart, Angie worked at the Central Pennsylvania Law Clinic as a certified legal intern. While at the Clinic, Angie worked with clients on estate planning and family law matters. Angie also served as a teaching assistant for Professor Buchhandler-Raphael’s family law class, where she provided students with academic support and helped ensure their academic success in the class. While at law school, Angie was involved with Wills For Heroes, where she volunteered to provide first responders, veterans, and their spouses with Wills, Living Wills, and financial powers of attorney. These experiences provided Angie with a great appreciation and understanding of the law and of the needs of her clients Angie earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Widener University Commonwealth Law School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where she was named to the Dean’s List and participated in the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, summa cum laude, with a minor in Writing from Loyola University Maryland. At Loyola, she was awarded a Presidential Scholarship, recognized with the Academic Excellence in German Award, and completed her honors thesis on the influence of celebrity involvement in presidential politics.
Before becoming an associate, Angie worked with Coughlin & Gerhart as a summer associate, gaining valuable experience across several practice areas. She also held roles in customer service, investigative support, retail, academic administration, and served as a writing intern with Biasly.com.
Angie is a native of Northeastern Pennsylvania and practices primarily out of the Montrose, PA office— located in the heart of the county where she grew up. She graduated from Scranton Preparatory School, and although she left the area for undergraduate and graduate school, returning to NEPA was always on the forefront of her mind. When she is not busy working, she can often be found on the local ski slopes.
