Ann Elizabeth Schwartz

Ann Schwartz brings a strong environmental and public interest background to her legal work. She graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Political Science, then earned her law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law in Eugene. During law school, she completed specialized coursework in environmental and natural resource law and received a Statement of Completion in that area. Ann also worked through the environmental law clinic with the Western Environmental Law Clinic, where she assisted on cases and projects involving NEPA. In addition to her clinical experience, she was involved with Land Air Water, an environmental law group known for organizing the annual Public Interest Environmental Law Conference in Eugene. Today, Ann maintains active professional memberships with the American Bar Association, Indiana State Bar Association, Jefferson County Bar Association, and Kentucky Bar Association. She is licensed to practice law in Kentucky and is admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.
