Biography

Anna Palacios-Valdez is a licensed attorney in Texas and a cum laude graduate of Thurgood Marshall School of Law. Known for her sharp legal mind and unwavering commitment to public service, Anna has distinguished herself through academic honors, including consistent placement on the Dean’s List and recognition from leading legal organizations, including the Mexican American Bar Association of Houston, Texas; Hispanic Bar Association; and the LGBTQ+ Law Section of the Austin Bar Foundation.

With strong research and litigation skills, she has contributed to complex civil litigation, criminal defense, and probate matters. Her experience spans clerkships with a criminal defense firm and Probate Court No. 2 under Judge Pamela Medina and includes working as an attorney handling landlord/tenant issues, where she excelled in motion drafting, evidence review, and bilingual client advocacy.
