Biography

Anna Catherine “AC” Parham is a native of Greer, South Carolina and an attorney licensed in South Carolina, Florida, and the District of Columbia. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of South Carolina with a B.A., earned her J.D. cum laude from the University of South Carolina School of Law, and holds an M.B.A. with distinction from The Citadel.

Before entering private practice, AC served as a law clerk to the Honorable Bruce Howe Hendricks of the U.S. District Court and the Honorable John D. Geathers of the South Carolina Court of Appeals.

During law school, AC served as associate editor-in-chief of the South Carolina Law Review, where her student note was chosen for publication and resulted in her winning the Roberts Senior Class Writing Award for the best student-written article in the class of 2021. Additionally, AC served as Chief Justice of the South Carolina Moot Court Bar, during which time she won Best Oralist at the Kate Bockman Memorial Moot Court Competition, was named to the Order of Barristers, and won the Robert Bockman Award as voted by her peers for excellence in appellate advocacy. AC graduated from USC Law’s Konduros Leadership Development Program and was a pupil member in the John Belton O’Neall Inn of Court. As a law student, AC was chosen by the law school faculty as the recipient of the Matthew J. Perry Scholarship Award and the Capers Bouton Memorial Scholarship Award.

For her work both within and outside of the legal community, AC has been awarded the Kentucky Colonel Award (Governor Andy Beshear), the Order of the Silver Crescent Award (Governor Henry McMaster), the Key to the City of Columbia, SC, the Key to the City of Greer, SC, the Walker E. Solomon Award (South Carolina Education Association), the Fresh Voices in the Humanities Award (South Carolina Governor’s Awards in Humanities), a Jefferson Award (Jefferson Awards Foundation), and the Acorn to Oak Award (Angels in the Outfield 501(c)(3)).

In Greenville, she is very active in the community. She is a member of Christ Church Episcopal and is active in the Junior League.
