Biography

Anna Marie Urie is a Partner in the Tampa office. Ms. Urie defends employers against labor and employment law claims, from administrative proceedings through trial. Her experience includes federal, state and local claims involving discrimination, retaliation, whistleblower, wage and hour, civil rights, breach of contract, negligent retention, negligent hiring, sexual harassment, non-compete agreements among the many other labor and employment disputes.

Ms. Urie also litigates in the areas of premise liability claims, sexual assault and battery claims as well as claims involving housing discrimination and fair housing statutes, condominium associations, and homeowners associations.

Prior to joining Cole Scott & Kissane, Ms. Urie handled medical malpractice claims involving sovereign immunity.
