Experience: Representative Matters: Represented a subsidiary of Korean Telecom in a breach of contract action arising from the largest corporate fraud ever prosecuted in South Korea, achieving a more than $30 million jury award in California state court.; Defended independent directors in a well-known film and television studio from tort claims arising out of a lender's investment in the studio; obtained dismissal of the complaint, affirmed by the Appellate Division on appeal.; Defended a Peruvian biodiesel company and its officers and directors from tort claims and Securities Exchange Act claims asserted by an Israeli shareholder; obtained dismissal of the complaint, affirmed by the Second Circuit on appeal.; Defended ORIX Capital Corp. and 11 national members of a lending syndicate in U.C.C.
