Anthony Calbert Savastano: Attorney with Savastano Brungard & Geyer, PLLC

Biography

Following in the footsteps of his grandfather, Bob Duthie Sr., and uncle, Bobby Duthie, Anthony is a proud third generation Durango attorney, and looks forward to continuing his family’s storied history of helping Durango and the four corners address their legal needs. Since graduating from Tulsa University in 2012, Anthony has provided representation to a diverse set of clients with a wide scope of legal issues. Practicing in the areas of corporate law, personal injury, contracts, business formation, real estate, and both civil litigation and criminal litigation, Anthony has served the many needs of his clients in the often complex issues they face. His practice regularly extends to the following areas of law:

Business/Corporate

Personal Injury

Civil Litigation

Corporate Litigation

Closely Held Business

Complex Litigation

Real Estate

Transactions

Property Law

Contracts Law

Corporate and Real Estate Negotiation

Licensed to practice in all Colorado state and federal courts, Anthony currently serves as corporate counsel for numerous Colorado, national and international companies, including services rendered for formation, dissolution, asset sale agreements, real estate sales, contract disputes, member/shareholder disputes and corporate litigation. In just last year, he has served as the lead attorney handling the drafting, facilitation and/or negotiating of instruments involved in transactions totaling over $30 million in value, including the sale of commercial properties, corporate assets, loans, and complex land right acquisitions. In his work on civil matters, he, along with his partners, have successfully recovered millions for personal injury clients and zealously guarded clients when claims are made against them, including extensive work representing clients in the “416 Fire” lawsuit.

Anthony is a member of the Colorado and Southwest Colorado Bar Associations, serving as the Southwest Colorado Bar Association’s Secretary (2013), Treasurer 2014) and President (2015). His extensive history with board work has not been limited to the legal sector, as he has previously served on the board of directors of the Durango Arts Center, and presently serves as Chair of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board for the City of Durango which he has been an appointed member of since 2017.

During his time away from work, Anthony loves spending time with his family, traveling, and exploring the west by bike, skis, raft, and trail.
