Biography

Antony Stuart is the principal attorney of Stuart Law Firm in Los Angeles, specializing in tort litigation, including legal malpractice, consumer protection, personal injury, invasion of privacy, First Amendment issues, class actions, and insurance litigation. He has notably pioneered fraud cases against junk health insurance providers. As lead counsel in the landmark privacy case Shulman v. Group W Productions (1998), he played a key role in regulating attorney advertising in California. Recognized for his influence, he was named one of California's top 20 lawyers by California Lawyer in 1998 and one of the nation’s “Three Kings of Privacy” by Editor and Publisher in 2000.

Mr. Stuart has held prominent leadership roles, serving as President of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles in 2004 and as Secretary of Consumer Attorneys of California in 2011. He was also appointed to the California Judicial Council’s Blue Ribbon Panel in 2003, contributing to the revision of civil case management rules. Nominated three times for “Trial Lawyer of the Year,” he is also a published author on topics related to malpractice, consumer protection, and trial advocacy.
