Biography

Art Barsegyan is an associate attorney at Pansky Markle Attorneys at Law, having joined the firm in 2012. His practice specializes in legal ethics compliance, state bar disciplinary defense, attorney admissions, and legal malpractice defense. Mr. Barsegyan is actively involved in the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA), the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers (APRL), and the Association of Discipline Defense Counsel (ADDC), where he served on the Board of Directors from 2017 to 2021, including a term as President in 2021. He also represented ADDC on the State Bar of California’s Bench-Bar Committee from 2018 to 2020. A regular speaker at MCLE presentations, he addresses various legal ethics topics to attorney groups and organizations. Mr. Barsegyan graduated cum laude with a B.A. from the University of Southern California in 2007 and earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles in 2011, where he was recognized for his academic achievements and leadership roles. He has also contributed to the investigation and prosecution of attorneys as a law clerk for the State Bar of California and remains committed to mentoring law students through Loyola's Alumni Mentor Program.
