Arthur S. Bresnahan

Arthur S. Bresnahan has over fifty-five years of litigation experience nationwide, trying cases to verdict before juries in numerous federal and State jurisdictions. Mr. Bresnahan also has briefed and argued cases before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the Illinois Supreme Court and appellate courts. Mr. Bresnahan has defended lawsuits involving personal injury, products liability, class actions, commercial disputes, real estate matters, premises liability, insurance and excess insurance, medical malpractice, and matters in Chancery.

Mr. Bresnahan has also appeared before numerous administrative bodies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Illinois Industrial Commission, the Human Rights Commission of the City of Chicago, and other entities. He has significant experience in alternative dispute resolution and regularly serves as an arbitrator.
