Ashleigh Quinn Gallagher's journey in the legal realm is marked by
academic distinction and a steadfast commitment to championing the
rights of workers. A graduate of Pennsylvania State University, she
earned her degree with Distinction, securing a position in the top
10% of her graduating class. Her pursuit of legal excellence led her
to Villanova University School of Law, where she obtained her law
degree.
During her time
at law school, Ashleigh's dedication to legal advocacy was evident as
she served as the secretary of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund.
She was also a valued member of the Labor and Employment Law Society
and actively participated in the National Law Students' Worker's
Rights Conference in 2010.
Before embarking
on her role at Pond Lehocky, Ashleigh honed her skills through
various experiences. As a legal intern with the Sheet Metal Workers
Local Union No. 19, a position secured through the Peggy Browning
Fellowship Program, she provided counsel to union members on a
spectrum of legal issues and actively engaged in collective
bargaining negotiations. Additionally, she held a legal externship
for the Honorable Phyllis R. Streitel in the Court of Common Pleas in
Chester County, PA.
In February of
2012, Ashleigh joined Pond Lehocky and has since emerged as the
Senior Associate in the workers' compensation and Social Security
departments. Her practice is centered on workers' compensation,
Social Security disability, and long-term disability law. Admitted to
practice law in Pennsylvania, Ashleigh is a member of the American
Association for Justice and the Philadelphia Bar Association.
Furthermore, she holds admission to practice in the United States
District Court in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Raised in a Union
family, with her father serving as a union representative with the
Communication Workers of America for two decades, Ashleigh's
commitment to the well-being of injured workers is deeply rooted.
Today, she devotes her time to advocate for the rights of those
facing challenges in the realm of workers' compensation and
disability law.
