Ashley D. Marks

Ashley Marks is the newest attorney to our office. She started working as a law clerk for the firm in 2009. She transitioned to full time attorney in 2011. Her primary practice areas are Social Security Disability, Personal Injury, and Employment/Labor law.

She earned her J.D. from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. Ashley was extremely active while in law school. She served as a Moot Court participant and was awarded best overall written brief. She then served on the board for the International Moot Court Competition as a problem writer. She was also an intern for the Indiana University School of Medicine’s legal department. While there her responsibilities included reviewing language in clinical trial documents, drafting policies, and doing research.

In her free time, Ashley enjoys volunteering for “Back on my Feet,” a local homeless initiative that helps individuals gain independent lives through running and dedication. She regularly runs half marathons, including the Indianapolis Half Marathon and 500 Mini Marathon, and in 2013 completed her first full marathon in Chicago. She enjoys anything that keeps her active, cheering on her favorite sports teams (Go Colts, Pacers and Braves), and traveling with her husband.
