Biography

Ashley Bane is a partner in WSHB's New Orleans office. Ashley has extensive experience representing foreign and domestic insurers in a variety of first- and third-party disputes, including first-party bad faith claims. She regularly represents carriers in state and federal courts, including appellate courts, and in arbitration proceedings.

Ashley has experience in a broad range of practice areas, including transportation, products liability, premises liability, construction, contract disputes, and maritime law. She has defended manufacturers, shipowners, charterers, and other corporations in state and federal courts and in arbitration proceedings, including multi-million dollar personal injury and wrongful death claims. She also has experience in casualty response, including witness interviews, advising clients on-scene, and interfacing with investigating agencies.

From 2022 to 2024, Ashley has been recognized as a Super Lawyers 'Rising Star' for her work in civil litigation in New Orleans, LA. Additionally, she has received Best Lawyers Ones to Watch recognition from 2021 to 2024 for her accomplishments in commercial litigation and transportation law.

Ashley resides in New Orleans with her husband and three sons.
