Ashley M. Mullings-Maragh

Immediately prior to joining MCB, Ashley worked as an associate attorney at a law firm in the New York area where her areas of focus were medical malpractice and mass tort liability. Specific responsibilities included preparing dispositive and discovery motions; reviewing medical records and preparing medical summaries and analyses; meeting with experts to discuss key issues attending each case and preparing expert review reports; taking and defending depositions; and assisting with the development of defense strategies and alternatives for clients. Previous experience also included reviewing and analyzing medical records involving personal injury civil litigation. Additionally, Ashley held a legal internship position concerning real estate and Chapter 11 bankruptcy, and she has served as a paralegal involved with drafting and revising litigation documents in the areas of mass tort, product liability, and personal injury.

Ashley received her B.A. from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 2016, making Dean’s List. She earned her J.D. from the Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2020, where she again made Dean’s List and received the additional honors of Honors Program Scholar and Pro-Bono Scholar. As a Pro-Bono Scholar, Ashley completed her law school education in two years and sat for the Uniform Bar Examination in February of 2020, prior to graduation. She was also a Merit Scholarship Recipient, an Academic Achievement Scholarship Recipient, and a CALI Award Recipient for Bankruptcy and Foreclosures. Ashley is admitted to practice in New York.
