Atty. Margaret R. Spring

Attorney Spring is an associate attorney who has dedicated her academic career to becoming a family law lawyer. Attorney Spring represents clients in family law related matters including post-judgment disputes, maintenance modifications, maintenance enforcement, spousal support, paternity actions, child custody and placement actions, placement enforcement, child support, child support enforcement, child removal, child abuse, contempt orders, harassment, domestic violence, and restraining orders. Attorney Spring graduated from Marquette University Law School. While in law school, she was the Editor-in-Chief of the Marquette Benefits and Social Welfare Law Review and was President of the Client Skills Board. Margaret was chosen to represent Marquette, on three separate occasions, in American Bar Association competitions throughout the mid-west. She was also invited to represent the United States at the Consensual Dispute Resolution Competition in Vienna, Austria as a negotiator. During her time at Marquette, Margaret clerked and received training to be a Guardian ad Litem with the Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee. Prior to attending law school, Attorney Spring graduated from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. Attorney Spring encourages the use of candid and honest communication with her clients while working through the case to best meet her client's objectives. Margaret's experience with Alternative Dispute Resolution allows her to effectively negotiate on her client's behalf; however, when an alternative resolution method is not successful, she employs her strong litigation skills to achieve her client's goals. Attorney Spring is licensed to practice law in the State of Wisconsin and is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin.
