Atty. Michael Dixon

As an attorney in our Business, Commercial Law and Real Estate groups, Michael Dixon serves clients as one of the firm’s contractual attorneys. Michael regularly works with both individual and business clients, assisting in business formation and business development. He also provides his clients with a variety of transactional services when needed, having represented all sides in transactional matters. Michael is well prepared to assist his clients in handling a wide variety of business and commercial law issues and regularly assists with Business Transactions, Residential and Commercial Real Estate, Franchise Law and Business Succession Planning. Michael focuses on: Business Organizations, Business Law, Franchise Law, Commercial Real Estate, Commercial Lending & Loan Documentation, Mergers and Acquisitions, Nonprofit & Tax Exempt Organizations, Contract Negotiation and Preparation, Easements, Land development and Real Estate.

Prior to attending law school, Michael worked in the healthcare field and owned and operated several successful businesses throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin. He was also involved as a regional developer in a nationwide healthcare franchise. This unique experience as a small business owner and franchisee, has translated well into assisting his clients with their unique business and legal needs.

Michael grew up in Cottage Grove, MN and currently resides in Hudson, WI with his wife, two daughters and their miniature dachshund Olive. His free time is most often spent going to his kids various soccer, hockey, softball and volleyball activities. He also enjoys golfing, attending Minnesota Wild and Minnesota United professional sporting events, spending time with family, and being outdoors.
