Neil is a bright guy and a seasoned lawyer. His biggest asset is his social skills. He is quite the charmer, and fun to be around. However, you cannot trust him. He often misrepresents opposing counsel as to the actual facts at hand in an effort to gain advantage for his client. The unsuspecting would never know this. Neil is a very social person - a consummate country-clubber with great social skills. He is always pleasant. He is also a bright lawyer. the problem with Neil is that he cannot be trusted. He will manipulate and misrepresent opposing counsel to attempt to get an advantage for his client. Some may consider that good lawyering. I do not. The more experience one has with Neil - and I have a lot - the more you like him socially, and the less you trust him in anything he says as a lawyer. Read less

Neil is a bright lawyer and very charming. However, he is not trustworthy and will misrepresent opposing counsel to attempt to gain an advantage for his client. Is that good lawyering or being sleazy? To the unsuspecting lawyer, they may think they are dealing with a nice lawyer. To those experienced in dealing with Neil, they know you have to be very wary when dealing with him. Neil has always been extremely gracious in our dealings - but I know from experience not to trust him. Read less
