Biography

One of the most important things to know about Weitz & Luxenberg is that all the attorneys really care about their clients. They want the same things that their clients want: justice. Caring attorneys, a desire to see the right things done. That’s a winning combination.”

Benjamin Darche joined Weitz & Luxenberg in 2004 as an attorney in our Asbestos Litigation group. He prosecutes cases against corporations valued at more than $10 billion where clients have been diagnosed with catastrophic cancers caused by asbestos exposure.

Before coming to the firm, he served as an assistant district attorney in Queens County, N.Y. from 2000-04, working in that office’s felony trial, appeals, and domestic violence bureaus.

In 2000, Mr. Darche received his juris doctor degree from New York Law School. He graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in 1997, receiving a bachelor of science degree in broadcast journalism.
