Biography

Ben Cooper’s practice focuses on the needs of small businesses, professionals, and nonprofit organizations. His expertise includes the formation, maintenance, and dissolution of limited liability companies, corporations, and nonprofit organizations. He is skilled in negotiating and drafting employment agreements, real estate purchase and lease agreements, and independent contractor agreements. Ben has also assisted nonprofit organizations in obtaining tax-exempt status from the IRS and exemptions from real property taxes.

As a member of NGC’s school law practice, Ben regularly advises clients on charter school law and nonprofit governance.
