Benjamin M. Chapman

Benjamin M. Chapman practices principally in the areas of insurance litigation, labor and employment, state and municipal civil service, government relations and regulatory law, and general civil litigation. He has represented several state and municipal agencies, boards and departments, professional associations, the Louisiana Insurance Guaranty Association, numerous insurance companies and third-party administrators, and both corporate and individual clients before administrative and civil service adjudications, arbitration and mediation panels, and in judicial proceedings in city courts and state and federal district and appellate courts throughout Louisiana. In addition to his litigation practice, he advises clients on a wide range of other issues including corporate organization, human resources best practices and regulations, as well as risk management, loss prevention and mitigation. He has earned a well-deserved reputation for strategic planning, accessibility, responsiveness and efficiency, due to his tireless advocacy on behalf of his clients. He is a frequent lecturer on labor and employment law issues, for the continuing legal education of other attorneys.
