Biography

Benjamin M. Sgro graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Butler University, and received his law degree from Saint Louis University Law School. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois.

Ben joined the firm as an associate in 2014 prior to becoming a partner in 2022. He focuses his practice in the areas of personal injury, civil litigation, and workers’ compensation. Ben also handles a variety of matters in business law, estate planning, and other general civil matters.

In addition to practicing law, Ben has served as a member of the Boys and Girls Club of Central Illinois Board of Directors, wish grantor for Make-A-Wish Illinois, and on the Illinois Innocence Project Advisory Task Force. He has been recognized as an Emerging Lawyer and was also selected as one of 40 under 40 leaders to watch by the Springfield Business Journal in 2017.
