Benjamin R. Roth: Attorney with Ball, Kirk & Holm, P.C.

Biography

Ben Roth grew up in Oelwein, Iowa, as the son of a postal worker and a teacher, so he knows the value of a hard day’s work. He didn't just study his way through school, he worked in a trainyard and mowed lawns to put himself through the University of Iowa College of Law, where he graduated with high distinction. That grit is exactly what he brings to Ball, Kirk & Holm, P.C. today. Ben has spent over a decade helping people navigate the complexities of workers’ compensation and Social Security disability. He’s a true leader in his field, currently serving as the Chairperson of the Workers’ Compensation Core Group for the Iowa Association for Justice. After practicing in Waterloo for more than ten years, he joined our firm in 2023 with a wealth of knowledge and a genuine desire to help those who have been sidelined by injury or disability. When Ben takes your case, you’re getting someone who understands the challenges working people face because he’s been there himself. He combines unique legal skills with a down-to-earth approach that puts his clients at ease.

The determination of the need for legal services and the choice of a lawyer are extremely important decisions and should not be based solely upon advertisements, certification, specialization or self-proclaimed expertise. A description or indication of limitation of practice does not mean that any agency or board has certified such lawyers as specialist or expert in an indicated field of law practice nor does it mean that such lawyer is necessarily any more expert or competent than any other lawyer. All potential clients are urged to make their own independent investigation and evaluation of any lawyer being considered. These disclosures are required by the Supreme Court of Iowa.
