Benjamin Thomas Starr: Attorney with Atlas Legal PLLC

Biography

Benjamin Starr founded Atlas Legal because he was tired of seeing people treated like case numbers. After watching national firms run disability claims through call centers and scripts, he built a different kind of practice on a Marine Corps belief that no one gets left behind. Ben is the attorney who prepares your case, writes your brief late into the night, and stands beside you in the hearing room. Raised in a small town, he understands what it means to work hard and how frustrating it is when injury or illness takes that ability away. Before law school, Ben served in the United States Marine Corps where discipline and service became more than values, they became a way of life. He carried that mission into the nonprofit world, helping disabled veterans and victims of crime navigate complicated recovery systems. Ben earned his bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa College of Law. Today, he uses his training to fight for the benefits his clients have earned, while staying active in veterans’ advocacy and his community.
