Biography

Berta Fandiño-Guerra focuses her practice on employment disputes and workers’ compensation matters, representing employers, businesses, and carriers in trials and mediations. Her experience spans the entire legal process, from initial defense through appellate proceedings. Ms. Fandiño-Guerra earned her law degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 1994, where she served on the Moot Court Board and received the American Jurisprudence Award for Appellate Advocacy. She also served as a Law Clerk to the Chief Judge of the Arkansas Court of Appeals. Admitted to practice in all courts of Florida, as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, Ms. Fandiño-Guerra is also licensed to practice in all courts of Arkansas. She is approved as an instructor by the State of Florida and frequently presents seminars to employers and carriers on employment-related topics and developments in workers’ compensation law.
