Beth Janssen Zilbert

Beth Zilbert's practice encompasses the key areas of estate planning, trust and estate administration and business. Her estate planning practice focuses on preparation and implementation of wills and all types of trusts, from revocable living trusts to specialty trusts such as life insurance, charitable remainder and qualified personal residence trusts. She also assists clients in administration of trusts and of probate estates. Beth enjoys thoughtfully exploring client needs and translating those needs into practical solutions. She says, “I like listening to clients' stories, and helping them sort out what's most important to them in the estate planning process.” Beth notes that for some, minimizing estate and gift taxes is key. For others, creating a legacy of support for family or charitable organizations is most important. Whatever their blend of priorities, each client is unique, and each deserves thoughtful solutions that accomplish their goals. Whether her client chooses a simple will or embarks on more complex wealth transfer planning, it is always Beth's goal that at the end of the process her client has peace of mind knowing they have created a clear, well-considered plan.Beth's business practice focuses on advice and preparation of documents relating to formation and governance of business entities, such as partnership and shareholder agreements, entity reorganization and recapitalization. This part of her practice complements her estate planning practice for clients with high net worth or those with closely held family businesses. Beth also counsels non-profit and tax-exempt organizations with preparation of organizational documents and advice to Boards of Directors regarding general corporate matters and issues related to tax exempt status.During her leisure Beth enjoys time with her husband and family, and is an avid tennis player. She also spends many enjoyable hours traveling with and cheering for her teenage daughter's volleyball teams.
