Bethany Westcott Wilson

A Tennessee native, Bethany earned a Bachelor of Arts from Lee University in 2017, majoring in Classical Humanities. After receiving her undergraduate degree, Bethany spent several years working as a Lead FMLA Leave Mentor at UNUM, a Fortune 500 insurance company based out of Chattanooga, Tennessee. While at UNUM, she got to experience the highs and lows of personnel management firsthand and fell in love with employment law as a result.

Bethany moved to Knoxville with her husband in 2019, and they immediately knew they were home. She attended the University of Tennessee College of Law, where she graduated with High Honors in 2024. During law school, Bethany served as Editor-in-Chief of Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law. She received Gold Level Pro Bono recognition for her dedication to pro bono activities throughout law school. In addition, she served as the 3L Representative for OUTlaw, and the Academics and Professionalism Chair for Phi Alpha Delta, and as a 1L Mentor for Law Women. She also served on the 3L Class Gift Committee and was a member of the Inns of Court and the Knoxville Bar Association.

After two clerkships with the firm during law school, Bethany joined as an associate in 2024. She has a broad practice that focuses on employment law, assisting and advising employers on a variety of employment matters arising under state and federal law. Her practice also includes general litigation.

Bethany currently resides in Karns with her husband, their two perfect rescue dogs, Nellie and Lucy, and an excessive collection of books.
