Blake Bauer has lived in the Twin Cities area his entire life. He played basketball at Saint John’s University and graduated cum laude with a double major in political science and psychology. Blake completed his Juris Doctor at William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. He excelled at William Mitchell, academically ranking in the top tier of his class, and serving on the William Mitchell Law Review as both a Staff Member and as an Editor.Blake started his legal career while still in law school as the Judicial Law Clerk for Judge Joanne Smith in Ramsey County Minnesota. After several years of working for the government, Blake joined Marso and Michelson, P.A. and quickly became the managing partner of the firm.In 2017 Blake joined Fields Law Firm, bringing the Marso and Michaelson Consumer Law clients with him. This move was a perfect fit because the two firms focus on areas of law that are dedicated to helping people in need. At Fields Law Firm, Blake focuses his practice on representing individuals with work injuries, disability claims, and credit reporting inaccuracies nationwide. He has achieved great success for his clients, fighting against both the biggest insurance companies and the major credit reporting agencies. Blake has proven to be a fierce litigator that gets results for his clients. Blake’s goal is always to help his clients achieve the fullest physical recovery possible, while pursuing the maximum financial recovery for his clients’ claims.Blake has dedicated his entire career to helping individuals who are dealing with life’s unanticipated circumstances. He understands and appreciates the struggles people experience when they are unable to work, and knows how crippling it can be emotionally, financially, and physically to not be able to support your family. Blake has always enjoyed practicing law in these areas because he can make a real difference in his clients’ lives and help them in their time of need. Blake was selected as a Minnesota Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2023, 2024 and 2025.Mr. Bauer is admitted to practice in the Minnesota state courts, United States Bankruptcy Court of Minnesota, and the United States District Court of Minnesota, the Northern District of Texas, the Eastern District of Michigan, and the Eastern District of Tennessee.In his free time, Blake enjoys spending time with his wife and two young boys, fishing, playing golf, going to the Minnesota’s Brainerd Lakes Area, and coaching youth basketball teams.
