Blake Kong

Blake Kong is an Associate in the Irvine office of Resnick & Louis, P.C. and has extensive litigation experience in insurance defense, bodily injury defense, and premises liability. Blake’s experience includes the analysis and litigation of complex insurance issues, including Personal Injury issues involving both personal lines and commercial lines.

Prior to joining Resnick & Louis, Blake worked as a general practice attorney and litigator, primarily representing plaintiffs. He focused on the discovery process to gather evidence in support of his clients. During court proceedings, he advocated for various motions based on the evidence, including issue sanctions, terminating sanctions, and other dispositive motions. Blake also worked on the defense side at Gordon & Rees, assisting trial attorneys. He gained experience in insurance defense as a legal field operations attorney at Liberty Mutual Insurance. Additionally, he worked at McClaugherty & Associates as an insurance defense attorney.

Blake graduated from Yonsei University in Korea and is fluent in Korean. After completing his studies at Thomas Jefferson School of Law, he practiced law within the Korean community in San Diego. Additionally, he volunteered as a legal advisor for the San Diego Korean-American Association.
