Military decorations and awards include: Combat Infantry Badge; Master Parachutist Badge; Ranger Tab; Presidential Unit Citation (awarded to Military Assistance Command Vietnam Studies and Observations Group for the unit's combat actions during period of service as reconnaissance team member); Bronze Star Medal with “V” Device; Bronze Star Medal for Meritorious Service (2 awards); Air Medal (5 awards); Purple Heart; Meritorious Service Medal; and Army Commendation Medal.
