Biography

Bolam Kim is a partner in WSHB’s New York office. She is experienced in counseling businesses on corporate issues and employment law matters, including in copyright matters and discrimination. Bolam has a wide variety of litigation experience and has represented clients in breach of contract disputes, toxic torts, Labor Law litigation, defense of catastrophic injury actions, premises liability cases, real property issues, insurance coverage, and employment discrimination matters. In addition, she works closely with businesses operating in places of public accommodation to provide litigation defense and counseling services pertaining to the Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Bolam received her Juris Doctor with a Tax Studies Certificate from University of Connecticut School of Law, where she served as an Executive Editor of the Connecticut Law Review, the Vice President of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association, and the Secretary of the Corporate & Securities Law Society. During law school, Bolam was part of the Tax Clinic where she represented low-income taxpayers, helping them achieve a favorable resolution to their federal tax liabilities.

Bolam is fluent in Korean.
