BORIS E. EFRON was born in Lvov, Russia, and emigrated to the
United States in 1960. He has been a resident of Menlo Park, California since
1962.
Boris Efron received his Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon
State University where he majored in Forest Management, Engineering and
Business Administration. He received his Juris Doctor degree from California
Western School of Law in 1977. He is a member of Phi Delta Phi.
Boris Efron began his career as an attorney in the legal department
of an international corporation. Over the next seven years he rose to the
position of corporate vice president, litigation. His responsibilities included
corporate governance and business functions. He directed litigation efforts
throughout the United States and abroad, traveling to litigate issues in
employment, franchising, commercial and business litigation. He was also
extensively involved in corporate risk management and tort-defense litigation.
In 1985, Boris Efron made a pivotal career choice. He decided to
devote his legal practice to helping catastrophically injured consumers, people
who are disadvantaged and unable to defend their rights. Since that time Boris
Efron has handled, litigated, mediated, arbitrated and tried cases involving
catastrophic injury, wrongful death, government entity liability, product
liability, insurance bad faith, premises liability, medical, legal and
fiduciary malpractice, construction defects, workers’ compensation, real estate
and business issues. He is a member of the San Francisco Bar Association, San
Mateo County Bar Association, State Bar of California, Consumer Attorneys of
California, American Association for Justice, and The Commercial Law League of
America. He is a court appointed arbitrator for the San Mateo and Santa Clara
County Superior Courts.

medical lien - reimbursement claim resolution, engineering, auto mechanics,
forestry and business to effectively evaluate and resolve disputes. His early

His solid understanding of risk management, engineering and medical issues aid
him to fairly and efficiently resolve disputes. He has traveled widely. He
speaks Russian fluently and has a working knowledge of Hebrew and Polish.
