Biography

Bradley A. Post is Modesto Partner in the offices of Borton Petrini, LLP, where he served as the Firm Managing Partner for over 15 years and as the Modesto office Managing Partner for over 28 years. Bradley received his undergraduate degree from the University of the Pacific in 1981. He attended McGeorge School of Law, obtaining his Juris Doctorate in 1986 and was admitted to the California State Bar the same year.

Brad has over 39 years of legal experience handling cases dealing with business disputes, real estate disputes, public entity law, product liability, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, civil rights violations, agricultural law, trucking law, premises liability, and collections.

Brad has been representing various public entities throughout Central California during his 36-plus year legal career defending cases through trial in both state and federal courts. Various cities represented include, but are not limited to, the cities of Modesto, Ceres, Riverbank, Oakdale, Sonora, Lathrop, Angels Camp, Escalon, Waterford, Patterson, Atwater, Hughson, Turlock, Elk Grove, Gustine, Coalinga, and Livingston.

Other public entities that Brad has represented include the County of Stanislaus, the Special District Risk Management Authority, Stanislaus Consolidated Fire Protection District, Public Agency Risk Sharing Authority of California, and the Central San Joaquin Risk Management Authority.

As an experienced Trial lawyer in Modesto, Brad has extensive Jury Trial experience throughout California including a broad range of complex, high exposure litigation involving automobile accidents and traveling, health insurance issues, attorney malpractice, wrongful death, dangerous conditions, construction defect and property damage. He is also familiar with the appellate process, having handled several successful appeals pertaining to the use of trial expert testimony, attorney conflicts, dangerous conditions of public property, design immunity, and FIFRA regulations.

Brad also is well versed in corporate law, including the formation of corporations, limited liability companies and limited liability partnerships.

Brad stays on the cutting edge of his profession as a Modesto lawyer through memberships in several legal and professional organizations. Among these are the State Bar of California and the Stanislaus County Bar Association, for which he is a Past-President and has been on the Board of Directors for seven years.

Brad has been admitted to practice law before all of the California District Courts.

Brad does his part to serve and promote his community. He is a current Board Member and Past-President of the Stanislaus County Society for DisAbilities, and a past Board Member and Past-President of the Sportsmen of Stanislaus.

Brad is married to Deena Post and they have two daughters, Kathleen Grace and Caroline Christine, and granddaughters, Evelyn and Rory, and a grandson, Lane and Sutter.
