Biography

Brenda Nguonly concentrates her practice on General Liability matters. Prior to joining Margolis Edelstein and attending law school, Brenda was a paralegal at an employment-based immigration law firm. While at the UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law, Brenda earned a Health Law & Policy Certificate and competed in the National Health Law Moot Court Competition. She was first exposed to trial work while interning at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia. Before law school, Brenda majored in Bioengineering at George Mason University.

Despite a multi-million demand and late transfer of the case after key deadlines had expired, the defense retained medical and economic experts and limited the case to damages at trial, resulting in a verdict approximately 15% of plaintiff's demand and well below the carrier's pre-trial offer.
